According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), postpartum depression affects up to one fifth of all new mothers in the United States, yet so many women and families continue to suffer in silence because of the shame and guilt associated with what they are experiencing. Three-Day Blues is a feature-length documentary exploring the stigma surrounding this issue and will include the personal stories of several brave women who experienced varying degrees of postpartum depression, as well as interviews with those working in the medical and mental health professions.
